3x3 Format Basketball - First ever Punjab State tournament begins at Ludhiana on Dec 12

Ludhiana: The first ever 3x3 Basketball Format State level tournaments begin on December 12 at Guru Nanak Stadium at Ludhiana. This has been informed by Teja Singh Dhaliwal, the General Secretary of Punjab Basketball Association.

He has informed that the matches will be played in U-17, U-19 and seniors categories. For U-17 category, 29 teams of Boys and 12 teams of Girls and for U-19 category 12 teams of boys and 5 teams of Girls arrive. In the seniors category there are 11 teams for men and 5 teams for Women who are participating from all over Punjab.

3x3 Basketball sports is a form of the game which is played three on a side on half-court with one basket single hoop and has also been given official consent in Olympics sports also. Ludhiana thus presents a real basketball thrill in this winter chill  for Punjab once again.
