37 IAS and 4 PCS Officers transferred

Chandigarh, May 28, 2014: The Punjab Government has transferred 37 IAS and 4 PCS officers with immediate effect. Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the state government said that Jagpal Singh, IAS has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Home Affairs and Justice and his transfer order would be effective from May 31, 2014 upon superannuation of S.S. Channy, IAS.
He said that in the IAS cadre, Karan Avtar Singh, IAS has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Investment Promotion, Deva Pampapathi Reddy as Financial Commissioner, Taxation and in addition Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Vini Mahajan as Principal Secretary, Finance and in addition Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare and Principal Secretary, Medical Education & Research, Viswajeet Khanna as Financial Commissioner, Forest & Wild life and in addition Principal Secretary Civil Aviation and in addition Principal Secretary, Labour, Ravneet Kaur as Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, Roshan Sunkaria as Principal Secretary, Higher Education and Languages, Anurag Agarwal as Managing Director, Punjab Infrastructure Development Board and in addition Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited and in addition Secretary, Transport, A. In the PCS Cadre, Pardeep Kumar’s services has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Amritsar, while services of Rajiv Prashar have been placed at the disposal of the Department of Transport for posting as Managing Director, PRTC, Patiala and Sandeep Rishi’s services has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Housing and Urban Development for posting as Chief Administrator, Amritsar Development Authority, Amritsar and in addition Chairman , Improvement Trust, Amritsar and Dalwinderjit Singh, PCS have been posted as Additional Chief Administrator, Bathinda Development Authority, Bathinda and in addition Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bathinda.
The spokesperson further said that posting orders of S.S. Gurjar, IAS, Manjit Singh Narang, IAS and Vipul Ujwal, IAS will be issued later.
