35th Sajoba rally begins with scrutiny and super spectator stage

Chandigarh, March 4, 2022: This time 25 four wheeler and 55 two wheeler drivers will have to give a fire test  through many exciting routes in the Sajoba rally. It started from Forest Hill resort adjoining Chandigarh with Scrutiny and Super Spectator Stage. The best drivers, including women, have come from all over the country to participate in Sajoba's rally, one of the oldest in the country. The rally will run from March 4-6. This time Challenge Rally (Extreme) will be flagged off and there will also be a night stage for four wheelers. On the first day on March 4, the vehicles of all the drivers who took part in the rally were scrutinized. On March 5 morning, there will be a flag off for an exciting journey of 200 km from St. John's School Chandigarh, informed Gagan Sekhon Secretary Sajoba Rally 2022.

This rally is being conducted with the affiliation of FMSCI. The total prize money for the 2022 version of the rally is around 5.0 lakhs and trophies and other awards for the participants & Winners. The prize distribution ceremony would be held at Chandigarh Golf Association (CGA) on the 6th evening.

Safety standards have always been a priority of SJOBA. Hence, there are FIVs (First Intervention Vehicles) and ambulances at each competitive stage with SJOBA Marshals and Doctors available with full medical assistance. Each Marshal on the route also carries a first aid kit with himself, when on duty. SJOBA also boasts of a near perfect wireless communication network set-up  with in-house ham radio operators who ensure that any kind of help is provided immediately to the participants.The rally is possible only because of the full support of the Police and Administrations of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, as adequate arrangements are made to ensure that there is no oncoming traffic in the competitive stages. 

Each participant is treated like a member of the SJOBA family and thus provided with excellent food and lodging during the event. Lunch and stay for all participants and Marshals would be at the Gaj Retreat.

Marshal will be deployed 
Marshals will be posted on all the routes of the rally, so that the general public does not face any kind of trouble. Apart from this, medical teams have also been formed. Along with the ambulance, doctors will also accompany the rally so that any accident can be dealt with.
