34 teams showcase legal acumen at Prudencia’26 moot court
As many as 34 teams showcased their legal research, argumentation and courtroom presentation skills on the opening day of the two-day inter-departmental moot court competition, Prudencia’26, organised by the Department of Law, Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU).
Rohtak, October 8, 2026: As many as 34 teams showcased their legal research, argumentation and courtroom presentation skills on the opening day of the two-day inter-departmental moot court competition, Prudencia’26, organised by the Department of Law, Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU).
The first day featured Preliminary Round-I, Preliminary Round-II and the quarter-final round. Participants presented their arguments before the judges, demonstrating their grasp of legal principles, research skills and advocacy techniques.
Prof Sonu Dahmiwal, Head of the Department of Law, welcomed the participants at the inaugural session. Geetu, Ushank and Devika conducted the proceedings.
Convenor Prof Yogender Singh and members of the organising committee played a key role in conducting the competition.
The semi-final and final rounds will be held on October 9, with the winner to be declared thereafter.
