300 examined in diabetes screening camp at Mansa
Over 300 patients were examined during a free diabetes screening camp at Mansa today. Dr. Vijay Singla MLA Mansa inaugurated the camp which was organized by Max Super Specialty Hospital Bathinda. It was aimed to promote diabetes awareness, conduct free screening, and provide valuable information on how to effectively manage this chronic condition.

Bathinda, February 12, 2024: Over 300 patients were examined during a free diabetes screening camp at Mansa today. Dr. Vijay Singla MLA Mansa inaugurated the camp which was organized by Max Super Specialty Hospital Bathinda. It was aimed to promote diabetes awareness, conduct free screening, and provide valuable information on how to effectively manage this chronic condition.
During the camp, Max team conducted screenings and tests including blood sugar, diabetic foot check, obesity check, thyroid stimulation and diet counseling.
Addressing an informative session on prevention and management of diabetes, Dr. Sushil Kotru senior endocrinologist said that prevention and early intervention are keys when it comes to diabetes.
He advised to adopt a balanced diet, maintain an active lifestyle, and understand the warning signs of diabetes.
