Chandigarh, February 5, 2014: The Court of Navjot Sohal, Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar has awarded 3 years imprisonment and Rs.5,000 fine to Pishaura Singh in forgery case. He was convicted in the case of making forged Schedule Caste certificate on frivolous documents to get the loan of Rs.4 lakh.
Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau, Punjab said that Pishaura Singh s/o Balbir Singh of Village Chakk Mishri Khan in Amritsar district, who belonged to Jatt Sikh community; get a SC certificate on the base of frivolous documents. He then managed to get a loan of Rs.4 lakh from Punjab Schedule Caste Land Development and Finance Corporation, Punjab.
