3 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC, Ludhiana expresses its profound grief on the untimely demise of its bright and dedicated NCC Cadet UO Aabha, who passed away on 24 June. She was born on 27 March 2005.
Ludhiana, June 26, 2026: 3 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC, Ludhiana expresses its profound grief on the untimely demise of its bright and dedicated NCC Cadet UO Aabha, who passed away on 24 June. She was born on 27 March 2005.
UO Aabha completed her Bachelor of Arts from Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana and was pursuing M.Sc. in Yoga Therapy in Bangalore.
She had an outstanding NCC career and brought immense pride to the Battalion through her dedication, discipline and exceptional achievements. In 2023, she attended Pre-TSC I, II, III and IV Camps, where she won Gold Medals in Judging Distance and Field Signals competitions. She also attended the Army Attachment Camp 2023 and secured a Silver Medal in the Dance Competition during the Annual Training Camp (ATC). She further won a Gold Medal in Group Dance during Pre-TSC II.
In 2024, she earned a Silver Medal in Judging Distance and Field Signals at the All India Thal Sainik Camp (AITSC) and another Silver Medal in the same event at the Thal Sainik Camp (TSC), New Delhi. She also won a Silver Medal as Camp Senior at PDLS Camp and secured Second Position in the Best Cadet Competition 2024.
Apart from her NCC achievements, she also excelled academically and in extracurricular activities. She was awarded the College Colour in 2023 and the prestigious Roll of Honour in 2024 by her college.
UO Aabha's discipline, dedication, leadership and remarkable accomplishments will always remain an inspiration to all NCC cadets. Her untimely demise is an irreparable loss to the NCC fraternity.
