Ludhiana, August 29, 2025: The 3 PB (G) BN NCC Ludhiana successfully organized Sports Day celebrations at SDP College, Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women, and Government College for Women, Ludhiana. These events witnessed vibrant participation from cadets, showcasing their athletic talents and sportsmanship through a variety of competitive activities. The spirit of camaraderie and discipline fostered during these celebrations reflected the core values of NCC, encouraging physical fitness and team spirit among youth.
In a dedicated effort towards environmental sustainability, cadets of Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women participated in a Tree Plantation Drive across four villages, including Village Jhameri, where the plantation was inaugurated by Sarpanch Kuldeep Kaur. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about ecological conservation and involved active participation from the local communities, promoting the importance of afforestation and green living.
Furthermore, a Firing Practice Session was conducted at GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar, Sudhar, for cadets from GHG Khalsa College Gurusar, Sudhar, and Swami Ganga Giri Janta Girls College. Under the expert supervision of Commanding Officer Rakesh Singh Chauhan, the session provided valuable hands-on experience in weapon handling and marksmanship, significantly boosting the confidence and discipline of participating cadets.
