Students from various institutes during placement drive.

Jalandhar, August 21, 2019: Giving a wonderful platform to the budding professionals, CT Group of Institutions Shahpur campus organized placement drives in which three companies namely CHC, Jaro Education, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger participated.

The eligible streams for CHC remained B.Tech (ECE/EE/EEE/ME) 2020 passing batch, whereas for Jaro Education, students of B.Tech/BE/MBA/Other Graduates 2020 passing batch participated and for CK and Tommy Hilfiger, the eligible streams remained MBA/BBA/HM/FD 2020 passing out batch.

Shivani Passi, HR CHC, Gaurish Purohit from Jaro Education and Prashant, HR from CK briefed about the profile of their companies and the selection procedure that included online test, technical round and personal round.

For CHC, 123 students from various colleges namely Baba Farid Group of Institutions, IKG-PTU Kapurthala, Ludhiana Group of Colleges, Shaheed Bhagat State Technical Campus and CT Maqsudan participated and after first round, 51 students were shortlisted.

For Jaro Education, 292 students from different institutes namely Baba Farid Group of Institutions, IKG-PTU Kapurthala, LCET, DAV University, Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus and CT University, Ludhiana, went through Group Discussion and PI round. These students have been placed at an annual package around Rs. 12 Lakh per annum.

123 students participated in the interview process for Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.
Abhishek Soni, Deputy Director, Center for Career, Planning and Counselling said, “538 students participated in these drives and got a wonderful opportunity to experience the lifetime opportunity of appearing for a professional interview during their study time.”

CT Group Managing Director Manbir Singh appreciated the efforts for conducting these drives and wished luck for the future endeavors of the students.
