2nd Meeting of BoM of Ludhiana Effluent Treatment Society (LETS) held

Ludhiana, July 17, 2018: Today, the second meeting of Board of Management of Ludhiana Effluent Treatment Society (LETS) held under the chairmanship of Shri Narinder Bhamra CEO along with S. Gurmeet Singh Kular Secretary LETS; at factory of Shri Rajan Gupta Director LETS at Kay Pee Industries D-108, Phase V, Focal Point, Ludhiana. The undernoted points were discussed:
• Plantation Drive
Environmental considerations are the need of the hour, Ludhiana Effluent Treatment Society will organize a plantation drive and 5000 new plants will be planted in the month of July & August under the Plantation Drive through LETS.

• New Members
40 New Members have been approved by the board of management of LETS as various applications for the Membership of Ludhiana Effluent Treatment Society has been received recently,

• Reduction in Treatment Charges of JBR Technologies
It was a pending demand to reduce the charges for treatment of effluent by JBR Technologies as The Ludhiana Treatment Plant is one of the latest plants available in global market today. So, with modern technique of treating the effluent, the prices should be decreased, So Board of management have decided to reduce the effluent treatment charges, and the New Prices will be introduced in the Next Meeting of Board of management of Ludhiana Effluent Treatment Society.

• 254000 Litres Effluent Increased
254000 Litres Effluent Increased in Effluent to be treated per month at Ludhiana Effluent Treatment Society. S. Gurmeet Singh Kular Secretary New Team LETS, said that they the team will work to reduce the charges for effluent treatment and will make more industry join with LETS, and get their effluent treated, as this directly helps in reducing the level of water pollution.
