28 IPS & 7 PPS transferred in Punjab

Chandigarh, May 28, 2014: The Punjab Government has transferred 28 IPS and 7 PPS officers with immediate effect.
Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the state government said that Sanjeev Kalra, IPS has been transferred and posted as IGP/Security, Ishwar Singh, IPS as Director, State Narcotic Control Bureau and additional charge of IGP, Police Training Academy,. Phillaur, Nirmal Singh Dhillon, IPS as IGP (Zonal), Jalnadhar, Paramjit Singh Gill, IPS as IGP (Zonal) Patiala, Amardeep Singh Rai, IPS as IGP/Vigilance, Lok Nath Angra, IPS as IGP/Intelligence-2, Parveen Kumar Sinha, IPS as IGP/Provisioning, R.K.Jaiswal, IPS as Commissioner Police, Jalandhar, Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh, IPS as Commissioner Ludhiana, Munish Chawla, IPS as DIG Ropar, Nilabh Kishore, IPS as DIG Ludhiana, Ashish Chaudhary, IPS as AIG/Personnel, J. He further said that Narinder Bhargav, PPS has been posted as SSP Jalandhar (Rural), Varinder Singh, PPS as SSP Ropar, Inder Mohan Singh, PPS as SSP Mohali, Ravcharan Singh Brar, PPS as SSP Ludhiana (Rural), Bhupinder Singh Khattra, PPS as SSP Mansa, Sukhdev Singh Kahlon, PPS as SSP Faridkot and Jaspreet Singh, PPS has been posted as Commandant, 80th Battallion, PAP, Jalandhar.
