252 attend Hero DMC free mega heart check-up camp

Ludhiana, December 19, 2017: Hero DMC Heart Institute organized a Free Mega Heart checkup camp at Guru Gobind Singh Ji Charitable Hospital, Model town Extn, Ludhiana on 17 Dececember. Dr.Shibba Takkar Chhabra (Cardiologist) and Dr.Harshit (SR) from HDHI has examined the patients during the camp.

Total 252 patients were examined during the camp. Along with the required medical advice, free Blood Pressure, Random blood sugar and ECG was done and free medicines were given to patients who had come to get free medical check-up in the camp.

In his address to the gathering of patients and organizers, Dr Shibba appreciated the organizing of such free health check-up camps, which can guide the society to lead a healthy life. Now-a-days, it is very important for every individual to lead a balanced life style by having focus on quality of food which you take and also engaging oneself in a physical activity like walking, running and jogging.

A diet counseling was also done by Dt. Gurpreet kaur of HDHI ,according to patient disease condition and patients were advised to follow prescribed diet routine to keep their heart healthy and to live a healty lifestyle.

Members of Bibi kuldeep kaur charitable trust including Chairman M.S. Aneja said that the main purpose of camp was to bring awareness on heart ailments besides providing them prevention and treatment tips for healthy life.

At the end of the camp token of appreciation were distribued to all members who were participated in the camp.
