21 Days Surya Namaskar Amritmhutsv Project completed in Doaba Collge

Health and Well Being committee of Doaba College Jalandhar celebrated ‘Azadi  Ka Amritmahotsav’
Jalandhar, January 31, 2022: Health and Well Being committee of Doaba College Jalandhar celebrated ‘Azadi  Ka Amritmahotsav’, A Tribute on 75th Anniversary of Independence’ under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India and organized 21 days Surya Namaskar Project in online mode.  Dr. Sunny Madaar, a doctor by profession and Art of Living teacher graced the occasion as resource person for these 21 days. During the course, the resource person taught various steps of Sukshma Vyayama, Surya Namaskar, breathing exercises and concentrated on meditation also. The Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari explained the importance of yoga and purpose of celebrating Amritmahotsav to get freedom from the problems of body and mind. He aid that it is the first time in the history of Doaba college that a program of such long duration of 21 days is organized. He also appreciated the efforts of members of committee who worked hard on this life changing event that brought discipline in life. Prof. Garima Chodha and Dr. Suresh Mago, conveners of the committee concluded the event and motivated the participants to adopt yoga and meditation in their daily life. A student Tarandeep Kaur shared her experience of learning a lot from the event. Finally, Dr. Nirmal Singh thanked the Principal, Resource Person, faculty members and the students for their participation to make this 21 days event successful.
