20th Annual Conference ‘Share the Vision’concluded at LPU Campus

Jalandhar, January 7, 2022: Two-day 20th Annual Conference ‘Share the Vision’ of Lovely Professional University (LPU) concluded, today at the campus, where all LPU faculty and staff members participated passionately. Counting various international & national roaring achievements yearlong; the theme celebrated this year was “abhi to aur aage jaana hae”- (Still have to go Further). On this occasion, more than 1050 university employees were also honoured with 20, 15, 10 & 5 Years’ long ‘Association Awards’ for providing their valuable services.
While addressing, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal invoked all to lead LPU to get it included among the top 200 universities of the world by 2025. To follow this ardently, Chancellor Mr Mittal also announced a ‘Vision Fund’ for united potential and strategic activities of all departments. On this occasion, various achievements made in academics, research, placements, accreditations, rankings & awards, scientific & technological competitions, sports & cultural activities and more were shared.
All were inspired to perform better than before to let LPU reveal its potential to the world.  Mentioning about Olympics medals, top ranks and awards received by the university and its students; Chancellor Mr Mittal mentioned, “The exciting achievement journey has just begun, and we can achieve a lot more in the near future.” Mr Mittal also inspired every department to work on at least five new strategies to work upon to achieve the target of being in the top 200 universities of the world by 2025.
LPU staff members those completed 20 years’ service this year included Pro Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Dr Sanjay Modi; Sr Director at the Division of Legal & Legislative Affairs Ms Soosan Chhabra; Additional Dean Prof Dr Suresh Kumar from Mittal School of Business; Assistant Professor Avinash Bhagat from Department of Counselling; Associate Director at Division of Brand Development & Communication Ms Archana Sehgal; Deputy Director Ashu Angrish of Taxation & Banking Cell; Assistant Director, Department of Accounts, Mr Krishan Lal; Sr Accountant Ms Ranju Sharma from Division of Finance; Sr. Officer Vandana Sharma from Division of Admissions; Officer Ravish Kumar, Division of Human Resource;  and,  Driver Raj Kumar from Division of Hospitality.
