A 2012 batch officer of the Punjab Civil Services (PCS) Rajiv Kumar Verma joined as the Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district.

Nawanshahr, May 27, 2022: A 2012 batch officer of the Punjab Civil Services (PCS) Rajiv Kumar Verma joined as the Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district.
Rajiv Kumar Verma has been recently transferred by the state government from Jalandhar where he was posted as RTA Secretary. He had also served as ADC Phagwara, ADC Pathankot and ACA Puda Jalandhar in the past.
Assuming the charge of new office, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) said that he would accord top priority to further implement the schemes of the Punjab government in a better and effective manner. He said that he would ensure clean, efficient and transparent administration to people.
In a preliminary meeting with the staff in office, Verma asked them to perform their duty zealously to ensure that the people can avail benefit of schemes of Punjab government.
