Shimla, September 15, 2019: As many as 201 people were screened during a free mega multi-speciality health camp at Sri Ram Hospital, New Shimla on Sunday.
The camp was organized by Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali in association with Himachal Pradesh State Red Cross Society and Green New Shimla Society.
The camp was inaugurated by Kasumpati MLA Anirudh Singh.
Among others, Mala Singh and Amarpal Kochhar, president and secretary of Green New Shimla Society respectively, Pramod Singh Rana and Poonam Chauhan both secretary of State Red Cross Society were also presented during occasion.
A doctors’ team from Max including Dr Deepak Puri from cardiology, Dr Harpinder Kaur from ortho, Dr Divya Reddy from gynae, Dr Saruchi an eye specialist and Dr Tarun from internal medicine doctor gave consultation to people during camp .
Free investigations like blood sugar, blood pressure, ECG, BMD and vitals like weight, height were also offered during camp.
Sandeep Dogra, Senior Vice President and Zonal Head of Max Hospitals Punjab said that today’s camp was another endeavor from Max under its CSR activity to serve societyin line with the Max Group philosophy of ‘Seva-bhav”. We strive to provide best medical facility to people at their door steps. To meet this aim, we are organising free camps in many places of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal in quite past time. In camp, our main focus is to provide quality medical consultation to those people, who due to long distance or lack of nearby health care facility fail to avail such services, asserted Dogra.
