20 more services to be provided at Sewa kendras in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, November 10, 2017: In a major decision, the district administration has started 20 more services at Sewa Kendras in Ferozepur district. Deputy Commissioner Mr.Ramvir has informed that the new services would be provided in all 84 Sewa kendras across the district, which would increase the availability of citizen centric services to 172 against the 152.
The newly launched services includes issuance of new copies to the construction workers, Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Bima Yojna card, Shagun scheme, to avail LTC facility upto Rs. 2000, scheme relating treatment of dependent children, Financial assistance for hearing aids , financial aids for antim ardass, Group benefits scheme, Financial assistance for general surgery, Maternity benefits scheme, Mobile lab yojna, Urban health scheme, Housing and pension schemes. Besides that E-stamping and E-registration would also be provided to the applicants in the sewa kendras.
Deputy Commissioner has made it clear that all the newly launched services would be provided in time bound manner as all these are covered under Right to Service act. It may be mentioned here that all sewa kendras worked for 6 days in week from 9.30 AM to 6 PM. The availability of these services would further minimize public contacts with various offices, eliminate corruption, and enhance efficiency of administration and delivery of services, he added.
