2-Days Workshop on Financial Education and Career Options held at DAVIET

Jalandhar, September 22, 2023: The Department of Business Management of DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jalandhar organised a 2-days workshop on ‘Financial Education and Career Options” in association with National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) on September 20-21, 2023. NISM organized this 10 hours interactive program to provide knowledge on career options in capital market.  CS Nagesh Kumar was the trainer of the day.

He is a qualified Company Secretary, Cost and Work Management Accountant as well as certified trainer of NISM.

Dr. Sanjeev Naval, Principal (o), DAVIET applauded the efforts of Business Management department for organizing this program for the students of management.  Dr. Anil Soni, HOD, Business Management and faculty of the department welcomed CS Nagesh Kumar on his arrival in the Institute.

CS Nagesh Kumar discussed various aspects of financial education. He threw light on career and entrepreneurial opportunities in the financial market, financial investment opportunities and importance of investment on time. He discussed the prerequisites to investing into securities markets and others.  He talked about various precautions while investing in securities markets.  He specifically discussed investment through primary and secondary markets.

As many as 200 students participated in this workshop.  All got benefit of his vast experience. Dr. Suman Tandon Associate Prof. (BM) & Convener presented the vote of thanks. The workshop was concluded with distribution of certificates to participants.
