Students of Department of Hotel Management, GGNIMT, Ludhiana during two day trip to McLoedganj.
Ludhiana, October 20, 2015: A two day trip to McLoedganj was organised by the Department of Hotel Management, Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT). 30 students along with three faculty members joined the excursion. The students visited the waterfall, Dalaelama temple, Mall road and the Tibet Museum.
The Students also relished the Tibetans dishes and learnt about their herbs, spices and seasonings. The students thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Kirti Khanna, a final year student said such trips not only broke the monotony of studies but also bonded relations with friends. Yogesh, another final year students, said these excursions are the most cherishable moments of ones life.
Professor Manjeet Singh Chhabra, Co-ordinator, GGNIMT, while talking to the media said that the overall development of one’s personality should have the right mix of all the important ingredients; with excursion being the simplest and practical way of giving exposure to the students.
Dr. P. S Khattra , Principal, GGNIMT congratulated the department for organizing such an activity for the students.
