2 day seminar at UIET, PU

Chandigarh: Mechanical Engineering Department, University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) organized a two day national seminar on “Research Resurgence” from 17th -18thJan which was inaugurated today by Padma Shri Prof. Jagat Ram, Director P.G.I, Chandigarh. He enlightened the audience about the medical breakthrough due to technological resurgence in research and highlighted the achievements in medicine sector due to collaboration with engineering research.

Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh sensitized the audience on the importance of interdisciplinary research as the need of the hour and motivated the participants to utilize their research ideas for social and economic benefits of society. 

The seminar had Expert talks by Sh. Satish Kumar, a social worker and Sh. Deepak Kansal, MD, Xeam Ventures Pvt Ltd, Chandigarh.   

Prof. Savita Gupta, Director, UIET, PU, Patron of the Seminar, Dr. Amit Chauhan, event coordinator, faculty, researchers and students were present on the occasion.
