2-Day RCPNS on Sustainable Development in Chemical Sciences under sub-themes innovation-IPR-Entrepreneurship inaugurated 

Chandigarh, February 21, 2023: A two day Prof. Ram Chand Paul National Symposium (RCPNS) on Sustainable Development in Chemical Sciences under the sub-themes innovation-IPR-Entrepreneurship was inaugurated today at the Department of Chemistry Panjab University Chandigarh. 

Prof. Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor, PU CHD, was the Chief Guest for the event. The event was started with opening remarks from Prof. Sonal Singhal, Chairperson, Department of Chemistry followed by opening plenary address from Prof. Renu Vig where she emphasized the importance of multi-level collaboration and data analysis towards sustainable growth. 

During this event, Prof. Sandeep Verma, former Secretary, DST-SERB presented Prof. Pran Nath Vohra oration on the topic of bone tissue engineering. The first technical session was chaired by Prof. S. K. Mehta where two eminent speakers Prof. Christian Paulik, from Austria and Prof. Rajeev Gupta, Delhi University delivered their research work. Further, during the 2nd technical session chaired by Prof. K. K. Bashin where Dr. T. J. Dhilip from IIT Ropar and Dr. Parkash from INST Mohali presented their research studies. During the post lunch session, around 95 research scholars and faculties presented their research work in a form of posters. The event will continue tomorrow with several interesting scientific deliberations.
