2-Day chess championship kicks off at CT World School
Jalandhar, November 2, 2019: Under the banner of Jalandhar Chess Association (JCA), Jalandhar Chess Institute (JCI) is organizing a two day Jalandhar district chess championship at CT World School, Shahpur in which around 150 young chess players across the city are participating. The championship was inaugurated by Principal Madhu Sharma, JCA President Muneesh Thapar, JS Cheema, Chief Advisor and Chandresh Bakshi, Chief Orbitor. JCA Secretary Kirti Sharma informed that winners of championship will represent Jalandhar district in respective Punjab State Chess Championships. Madhu Sharma, Principal, CT World School lauded the efforts of JCA for organizing this event of great interest and said that such events increases the power of thinking and reasoning of the players and make them more witty and active.
