A total 191 newly recruits passed out, joins Punjab Armed Police at Jalandhar on Tuesday.

Jalandhar, February 26, 2013: A total 1,191 fresh contingents passed out selected by the Punjab Armed Police.

Dr Naresh Kumar Arora, Inspector General of Punjab Police, PAP took the salute from the newly passes out recruits and also inspected the parade.

The 158th batch of the recruits PAP were given rigorous training for ten months indoor as well as outdoor alongwith the operating of the an automatic and semi automatic fire weapons.

They were also imparted an ammunition and sophisticated fire weapons which are being used by the terrorists.

They were also given to understand the knowledge as to how to chalk out the strategy to be adopted to face terrorists.

While talking to the media, Dr Arora said that among the new recruits as many as five candidates holding MBA degrees where as 11 candidates holding M.Sc. degrees. Thirty-seven candidates are holding Post Graduate, MSc Information Technology(IT) degrees, four are Law Graduates,15 are Medicals, three are MPEds, one is DPEd, 24 candidates are Science Graduates, 20 are of BA-Beds, 11 are BSc IT, 34 are BCA,22 are B.Com,346 are graduates in the arts stream and 632 are plus two qualified recruits Arora concluded.
