18th Annual Athletic Meet organised at PCTE

Ludhiana, March 11, 2022: The sports ground of PCTE Group of Institutes was filled with great zeal, excitement, and a frolicsome atmosphere, as the students and faculty celebrated its final day of the 18th Annual Athletic Meet. The entire atmosphere reverberated with the echoes of applause of the ebullient and enthusiastic athletes where the overall Trophy of Athletic Meet 2022 was won by BCA final year.

Balkaran from BTTM 3rd year was declared the Best Athlete Award in Men’s category; Fanta from BBA 3rd Year was declared the Best Athlete Award in Women’s category.

In 400 m (Women), Eunice from BCA 1st year stood first, Esther from MBA 1st year stood second and Rachel from BMLS stood 3rd and among Men, Joseph from BBA 3rd year, Vipin Kumar from D Pharma 1st year and Manish from BCA 1st year. In the 800 m (Men), Gurjit Singh from D. Pharma bagged the first position, Ackim from BMLS 3rd year bagged 2nd position and Nesberty from B.Tech 1st year bagged the third position.

In Shot Put Finals (Women), the first position was bagged by Fanta from BBA 3rd year, the second position was bagged by Princess from BMLS 3rd Year and the third position was bagged by Flora from BBA 3rd year. In Shot Put Finals (Men), the first position was bagged by Adarshveer Singh from BCA 3rd year, second position was bagged by Amandeep Singh MBA 1st year, and the third position was bagged by Harshdeep Singh from BBA 2nd year.
In Triple Jump (Men) the first position was bagged by Balkaran from BTTM 3rd year, the second position was bagged by Nesberty from B.Tech 1st year and the third position was bagged by Sandeep from B.Tech 3rd year.

In Long Jump (Women), the first position was bagged by Jeanett B Tech 1st year, the second position was bagged by Fanta from BBA's 3rd year and the third position was bagged by Amritraj from B Pharma 1st year. In Long Jump (Men), Balkaran from BTTM 3rd year bagged the first position, the second position was bagged by Anmol BBA 1st year and the third position was bagged Lakshay BCA 2nd year.

In 4*400 meters relay, the first position was bagged by MLS 3rd  year, , followed by BCA 1st year who bagged the second position and B Tech 1st year bagged the third position.

In 100 meters (Women), the first position was bagged by Rachel from MLS 2021, the second position was bagged by Arti from BAJMC 1st year and the third position was bagged by Karman from Bsc Fashion design 1st year. In 100 meters (Men) the first position was bagged by Supreet Singh from BBA 2A, the second position was bagged by Jose from BBA 1B and the third position was bagged Emmanuel from MLS-2.

Mr. Amitej Singh, the Overall Coordinator, said that through such events, we help our students learn values of life which get imbibed into their thinking, thus helping them succeed in all walks of life. It gives me immense pleasure to see all the students participating in the event in large numbers.
