17th Aadivasi Yuva Aadan-Pradaan Program Concludes at PAU, Ludhiana
The 17th Aadivasi Yuva Aadan-Pradaan Program (Tribal Youth Exchange Programme) concluded successfully today at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana. The seven-day national integration programme was organised by MY Bharat under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Ludhiana, February 27, 2026: The 17th Aadivasi Yuva Aadan-Pradaan Program (Tribal Youth Exchange Programme) concluded successfully today at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana. The seven-day national integration programme was organised by MY Bharat under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The Closing Ceremony was graced by Pragati Verma, IAS (Under Training) as the Chief Guest, and Jasdev Singh Sekhon, Assistant Commissioner, as the Guest of Honour.
Earlier, during the programme, the participants were welcomed and guided by Ms. Rashmeet Kaur, Deputy Director, MY Bharat, Ludhiana, who also presented the brief report of the seven-day activities.
A total of 200 tribal youth along with 20 escorts from ten districts — Bastar, Bijapur, Dantewada, Mohalla–Manpur–Ambagarh Chowki, Sukma, West Singhbhum, Balaghat, Kandhamal, Malkangiri and Kalahandi — participated in the programme.
The ceremony began with the singing of Vande Mataram. Participants, including the 1st and 2nd prize winners, shared their experiences. A vibrant cultural performance by the Odisha team, which secured first prize, added colour to the event. Certificates and prizes were distributed to the participants.
During the week, youth attended leadership and communication sessions, career guidance, sessions on flagship government programmes, mental health and substance abuse awareness, disaster management training by NDRF, industrial and educational visits, plantation activity at PAU Forestry Department and cultural competitions.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem and a group photograph.
