175 Villagers Examined at Free Multi-Specialty Health Camp in Paksama

Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak organised a free multi-specialty health camp in Paksama village, where around 175 villagers availed themselves of dental, general medicine, dermatology and community health services.

Rohtak, August 17, 2026: Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak organised a free multi-specialty health camp in Paksama village, where around 175 villagers availed themselves of dental, general medicine, dermatology and community health services.
Leading the camp, Dr Manjunath, Nodal Officer for Medical and Dental Camps at PGIMS, said the health university is committed to taking quality healthcare services to rural areas and ensuring timely screening, treatment and health awareness. He said such camps would continue to be organised regularly in the future.
The dental team, led by Dr Kalpana and Dr Karan (PG), provided services to villagers. At the mobile dental clinic, Dr Pooja and her team carried out 24 dental procedures, including scaling and fillings. Screening for oral cancer and precancerous lesions was also conducted.
The General Medicine team screened patients for hypertension, fever, arthritis, asthma and other ailments and provided free medicines as required. Dermatologists treated patients suffering from allergies and other skin conditions, while the Community Medicine Department sensitised villagers about hygiene, disease prevention and healthy lifestyles.
Village Sarpanch Jai Bhagwan, former Sarpanch Mukesh and Dr Sunil, Medical Officer at CHC Paksama, extended their support in organising the camp.
