17 Youth from MSME Technical Centre Selected in Tata Motors and JBM Auto Limited: DC Sachin Gupta
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the MSME Technical Centre, operated by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises at the local IMT, is playing an important role in helping students secure employment through campus placements. A total of 17 final-year students undergoing training at the centre have been selected by leading automobile companies Tata Motors and JBM Auto Limited.
Rohtak, January 12, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the MSME Technical Centre, operated by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises at the local IMT, is playing an important role in helping students secure employment through campus placements. A total of 17 final-year students undergoing training at the centre have been selected by leading automobile companies Tata Motors and JBM Auto Limited.
The Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that during his recent visit to the MSME Technical Centre, he had directed officers to provide training to youth as per market demand and ensure placements in reputed companies. All 17 selected students are final-year trainees of Advanced Diploma in Tool & Die Making and Diploma in Mechatronics courses. During the campus placement drive, the students proved their merit through excellent technical knowledge, practical skills, discipline, and work efficiency.
DC Sachin Gupta informed that 14 students from Advanced Diploma in Tool & Die Making and 3 students from Diploma in Mechatronics were selected. The selected final-year Advanced Diploma students will be provided on-the-job training at Tata Motors and JBM Auto Limited during their final year. During this period, students will gain hands-on experience of real production processes along with a monthly stipend as decided by the company.
The Deputy Commissioner said that after successfully completing the training period, students will be offered permanent employment at Tata Motors and JBM Auto Limited. Additionally, meritorious Advanced Diploma students will also get an opportunity to pursue B.Tech under a special Tata Motors scheme, wherein the company will bear the entire sponsorship of their higher technical education.
He added that this achievement reflects the industry-oriented training system, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and strong placement network of the local MSME Technology Centre. The diploma and advanced diploma courses being run at the institute are not only providing employment opportunities to youth but are also enabling them to pursue higher education and a bright future.
Chief Manager of MSME Technology Centre, Naresh Jain appealed to youth interested in making a career in technical education to take admission at the institute for better placements, direct industry exposure, and a secure future. The centre is running various industry-based courses ranging from one month to four years. Youth who have passed Class 8 or above are eligible to apply for training. After completion of training, the technical centre provides full assistance in securing employment in various industries.
