Says, residents can get vaccinated at 29 private hospitals and 21 govt hospitals now

Ludhiana: Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma have informed that a total of 1640 Senior Citizens (aged above 60) and 521 persons aged between 45-59 with co-morbidities got vaccinated for Covid19 vaccine in various government and private hospitals in district Ludhiana in last 3 days.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that the third phase of Covid19 vaccination started on March 1, 2021, in which senior citizens and those aged between 45 and 59 years (as on January 1, 2022) with co-morbidities can get themselves vaccinated.
He informed this while interacting with residents on the official Facebook page of District Public Relations Office Ludhiana today evening.

He informed that the vaccination is completely free of cost at government hospitals and centres, private establishments cannot charge more than Rs 250 for each beneficiary (per dose) which includes Rs 150 as cost of vaccine and upto Rs 100 service charges. Private hospitals cannot charge more than Rs 100 per person (per dose) for services, he said.

He said that till date, a total of 20254 healthcare workers have received their first dose and 12181 second dose of vaccine. Similarly, 9055 frontline workers have received their first dose of vaccine.

He informed that for the third phase of the vaccination drive, beneficiaries can do advance self-registration through COWIN, or they can also go for on-site registrations by walking-in at the designated hospitals and vaccination centres.

He said that now, Covid19 vaccination would be done at 29 private hospitals namely Anupam Hospital, Bawa Hospital, CMC Hospital, Deep Hospital, Deepak Hospital, DMC Hospital, Fortis Hospital, Gurdev Hospital, Guru Teg Bahadur Charitable Hospital, Jain Multispeciality Hospital, Khanna Nursing Home, Mahal Multispeciality Hospital, Mittal Nursing Home & Trauma Centre, Pancham Hospital, RG Stone and Superspeciality Hospital, SAS Grewal Hospital, Shah Hospital, Shree Raghunath Hospital, Sidhu Hospital, Sobti Neuro & Superspeciality Hospital, Sri Balaji Stone & Super Speciality Hospital, UroCare Kidney Stone & Surgical Centre, USPC Jain Charitable Hospital, Verma Multi Speciality Hospital & CT Scan Centre, Pro Life Hospital and Pahwa Hospital.

Similarly, vaccination would be done at all 21 government hospitals of the district.
