Hyderabad: Mr VC Sajjanar, Commissioner of the Police, Cyberabad said that more than 16000 cases are booked so far against the Lockdown violators. 
 
There are almost 5000 police officers from Cyberabad Police on the ground monitoring the lockdown situation, he said.
 
Speaking to the media during his tour on Thursday and Friday, Mr. Sajjanr said “we will be more stringent hereafter. It is better for their safety no one ventures out unnecessarily”.  
 
"I advise people not to be careless during this second wave of the pandemic. A lot of them suffering from mild symptoms of COVID 19 are taking it easy thinking that it might be some viral infection. I request all of you not to turn a blind eye towards any symptoms and get yourself checked, he said. 
 
Mr. Sajjanar announced that Cyberabad Police in association with Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), is going to put an isolation ward. 
 
The Cyberabad Police Commissioner Mr VC Sajjanar toured Bandlaguda Jagir, BalajinagarBandlagudapetrol Bunk today and Suchitra, Alwal, IG Statue, Golnaka X Roads, Allwyn Colony, Dhoolapally X Roads, Miyapur, BHEL, Lingampally, RC Puram, Taranagar, HUDA Colony, JP Nagar, Papireddy Colony, PJR Stadium, Rajiv Griha Kalpa and Old Hafeezpet on Thursday.
 
Lockdown is for the safety of the people he said, to ensure lockdown orders are completely followed, Commissioner took a stock of lockdown implementation yesterday and today. He spent time with the field level police officers, interacted with them and supervised their functioning at the check posts on roads. Also, he advised them to take all safety precautions while interacting with the public. He monitored the movement of the vehicles and participated in the checking with other officers.
