Shimla: As many as 150 people were screened during a Max Hospital’s free health check-up camp at Indira Gandhi Sports Complex at Mall Shimla on Sunday. Harish Janartha, MLA inaugurated the camp.
The camp was organised to raise awareness about the importance of regular health monitoring, early diagnosis, and lifestyle modifications to prevent chronic diseases.
During the camp, a team of Max Hospital’s specialists from ortho and internal medicine conducted detailed health assessments, including joint pain evaluation, bone density checks, blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI analysis, and other vital screenings.
Dr. Pinak Moudgil, Executive Vice President Max said,” Our goal is to take healthcare beyond hospital walls and reach people where they live. Regular health check-ups play a crucial role in early detection and prevention of serious illnesses. Most lifestyle-related illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, and joint problems can be managed or even prevented through early detection and timely intervention. Through such camps, we aim to make people more aware of their health status and encourage them to adopt healthier lifestyles for long-term well-being.”
