Ludhiana, November 12, 2019: The management committee of Gurudwara Dashmesh Pita Ji, Chander Nagar Ludhiana organised an honouring ceremony of sikh priests (Granthi) serving at different Gurudwaras of the city.
The event was held to mark 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The occasion was graced by S. Pritpal Singh, Mukh Sewadar, Gurudwara Dukhniwaran Sahib; Dr SS Sibia, Director, Sibia Medical Centre; S. Apar Singh Malhi, Chairman of Gurudwara Dashmesh Pita Ji, Chander Nagar; Bhai Baljinder Singh, an eminent scholar; and Bhupinder Singh Bedi, an eminent scholar.
Prithvipal Singh, President, Gurudwara Dashmesh Pita Ji Management Committee said that as many as 14 priests were honoured for their contribution in spreading awareness about the teachings of our 10 gurus among the residents.
The 14 priests who were honoured are at presently serving at Gurudwara Manjhi Sahib (Alamgir), Gurudwara Ram Nagar, Gurudwara Dashmesh Pita Ji (Chander Nagar), Guruwara Akal Mandal, Guruwara Pritam Nagar, Gurudwara Lisa Market, Gurudwara Deep Nagar, Gurudwara Civil City, Gurudwara Dushehra Ground, Gurudwara 22feet Road, Gurudwara Guru Nanak Pura, Gurudwara Domorian Pull, Gurudwara Mai Bishan Kaur Ji and Gurudwara Kundan Puri.
