11th National Theatre festival successfully concluded with presentation of play `Main Bhagat Singh’

Bathinda, October 16, 2022: The large crowd witnessing National Theatre daily justifies that Bathinda people love and respect various art forms. These words were expressed by the Deputy Commissioner of Bathinda Shaukat Ahmed Pare, who arrived as a chief guest on the 15th and concluding evening of the 15-day 11th National Theatre Festival organized by Natyam Punjab, in association with North Zone Cultural Center Patiala, Punjab Sangeet Natak Academy, Haryana Kala Parishad and Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi at MRSPTU Campus, Bathinda. Ram Prakash, President of Bathinda Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Arjit Goyal from Paris City Bathinda, and Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Neil Garg were also present on the occasion. All the guests appreciated Natyam team for their efforts, assured all kinds of support, and praised the drama teams for raising numerous serious issues through plays.

Giving details, secretary, Natyam Punjab, Surinder Kaur, and Pooja Gupta shared that on the last evening of the Theatre Festival, Natyam team presented the play 'Main Bhagat Singh' written by renowned theatre artist Dr. Pali Bhupinder under the direction of Kirti Kripal. President of Natyam Sudarshan Gupta and Media coordinator Jaspreet Singh shared that this play shows the path to the dreams of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, in which a child reads S Bhagat Singh so much, that he starts seeing the martyr everywhere in his real life.
