114th birth anniversary of Sardar Udham Singh being celebrated at Ferozepur on Friday.
Ferozepur, December 27, 2013: Shaheed-e-Watan Youth Organisation, associating Youth Congress of Ferozepur, SOI and other local clubs, today celebrated the 114th birth anniversary of great freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh. A cultural programme was also organised to pay homage to a legendry insurrectionist who shook the British with his courageous acts and zeal.
All the prominent leaders and others from district, participated in this programme, to pay reverence to a real national hero. Joginder Singh Jindu, MLA Ferozepur (Rural), Parminder Singh Pinki, MLA Ferozepur (Urban), Kamal Sharma, President, Punjab BJP, Sukhpal Singh Nannu, Ex MLA, Anumeet Singh Heera Sodhi, Avtar Singh Minna, Chairman, Co-operative Bank, Punjab, Hans Raj Jossan, Former Cabinet Minister, Punjab, and others participated in this cultural event.
Punjabi singers Anantpal Singh, Happy Armaan, Ravinder Garewal, Yudhvir Manak also performed on the stage and fascinated the crowd.
