100 Programmes of KMV RADIO VOW Broadcast

Jalandhar, December 29, 2017: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Jalandhar VOW Radio which has reached its landmark 100th episodes with the broadcast of “100 Din Yuvaon Ke Sang’. At this juncture Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the team of department of Journalism and Mass Communication who have played a pivotal role in dealing with various youth issues through the very popular on-line medium. On-line media is the best way of connecting with the youth who have a great craze for this medium. VOW Radio has been actively and relevantly touched upon various social, economic and cultural topics during the streaming of its 100 episodes.

Dr. Rubal Kanozia, HoD of JMC averred that Radio VOW has indeed done a great service to the youth. Ms. Nidhi Sharma from Department of Journalism who has been solely involved with the programmes carried on by VOW Radio maintained that VOW stands for Voice of Women and it has given much space to woman issues. The best thing about VOW Radio is that the students are prepare the content, the students are the RJs and they only present the programme which is no mean achievement. During this moment of celebration Dr. Madhumeet, Dean Student Welfare and teachers of JMC department Mrs Manpreet, Mr Sandeep and Ms. Priya were also present.
