10 Illegal Immigration Centres Busted in Khanna, Major Police Action Under SSP Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia’s Leadership

Khanna / Ludhiana, February 12, 2026: In a major crackdown on illegal immigration networks, Khanna Police carried out simultaneous raids on 10 illegal immigration centres under Operation Prahar-2, following crucial intelligence inputs. The entire operation was conducted under the strict directions and strong leadership of SSP Khanna Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia. This decisive action has created panic among those involved in illegal activities of sending youth abroad through fraudulent means.

As per the instructions of SSP Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia, 10 special police teams were constituted to conduct coordinated raids at various immigration centres located in the prominent Education Hub GTB Market area of Khanna. SSP Ahluwalia stated that reliable inputs received during Operation Prahar-2 indicated the existence of a well-organised illegal immigration racket, prompting the police to launch this extensive operation. Preliminary investigations revealed that all 10 centres were operating illegally, and cases have been registered against them. The owners of these centres are currently absconding, and special teams have been deployed to track them down.

SSP Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia further revealed that certain immigration operators were working in collusion with gangsters and criminal elements, preparing fake passports and facilitating illegal migration of youth abroad. Acting on this serious information, the police initiated the crackdown.

During the raids, police recovered a huge quantity of suspicious material, including 30 passports, 34 computers, laptops and tablets, 15 ATM cards, and 175 cheque books, many of which were pre-signed. In addition, several important documents and large amounts of digital data were seized, which are now being thoroughly examined. These recoveries point towards large-scale financial fraud and illegal transactions.

Several victims who had been cheated by these fake immigration centres also came forward during the operation. Their statements are being recorded, and they have been assured full legal assistance. Initial investigations have further revealed that some of the accused immigration operators are already facing cases in Khanna, Nawanshahr, and New Delhi.

SSP Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia stated that those who exploit the dreams and future of youth in the name of sending them abroad will not be spared under any circumstances. He reiterated that Khanna Police are fully committed to eliminating crime and unlawful activities, and such strict campaigns will continue in the future as well.

The bold and effective action by Khanna Police has been widely appreciated by city residents, who have lauded the proactive leadership of SSP Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia. People believe that under her command, the police have strengthened law and order while also instilling a sense of security and trust among the public. This operation serves as a strong warning to illegal immigration mafias that there is no place for crime in Khanna.
