Ferozepur, February 25, 2014: In a tragic incident, a person shot himself to death. The dreadful incident took place at village Bhurekalan, Mamdot.
Harbans Kaur, the hapless sister of the deceased Kashmir Singh, informed that her brother, last evening, unexpectedly, took his .12 bore gun, and shot himself. The result proved fatal and he died on the spot.
The police swung into the action and immediately reached to the spot and started investigation. ASI Kulwant Singh informed today that the body has been handed over to his kin after the postmortem.
In another distressful event, one person dies at village Jhoke Harihar. Sohan Singh was travelling on an auto. Suddenly a herd of cattle came in front of the auto. In an attempt to save these cattle, the driver took a sharp turn but ill fatedly, the auto turned upside down.
