Two children dies as the roof caves in at Guruharsahai

Ferozepur, June 30, 2017: Two infants lost their lives while two other were injured as the roof caved at Village Boharia in Guruharsahai sub-division in Ferozepur. As per information available, the incident took place today afternoon with the family of Gursewak Singh, a labourer while he had gone to his work and her family members including wife Sarbjit Kaur, his children Parvinder Singh (2 years), Akashdip (8 months) and Manpreet Kaur (7 years) were at home. Suddenly, the roof cave in and his sons Parvinder Singh and Akashdip died on the spot while his daughter Manpreet Kaur sustained major injuries. She was admitted in the hospital by the eyewitnesses.

As soon as the news was spread, a pall of gloom descended the area.

The villagers demanded the compensation from the government for the poor family.
