‘Heart Failure Conclave’ held to focus on prevention of heart failure risks and effectively treating heart failure
Ludhiana, November 24, 2019: Hero DMC Heart Institute organized ‘Heart Failure Conclave’ today in Auditorium of DMC College Campus. The conclave was organized to create awareness for significant scientific developments in the field of Heart failure treatment. Renowned national faculty from different medical institutions of the country delivered talks on innovative treatments, techniques and ongoing research in this critical field of cardiology. An inauguration of the conclave was done by Secretary of DMCH Managing Society-Sh Prem Kumar Gupta and on this occasion, Hero DMC Heart Institute also launched an exclusive ‘Heart Failure Clinic’ which was inaugurated by a renowned Cardiologist and Former Director of PGIMER, Chandigarh-Dr KK Talwar. Dr Talwar, in his address, said that the risks of heart failure in India have grown manifold due to various factors including coronary heart disease, hypertension, obesity, diabetes and others. Vice-Principal and Chief cardiologist Dr GS Wander said that the state of Punjab has reported the highest burden of ischemic heart diseases in India and setting up of ‘Heart Failure Clinic’ by Hero DMC Heart Institute will be offering exclusive services for patients having complaint of heart diseases and providing them specialized treatment in keeping their heart healthy and safe from any diseases.
