‘The Beas’ dedicated to 550th Gurupurab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji released

Jalandhar, October 19, 2019: The latest and special edition of the annual magazine of Lyallpur Khalsa College, ‘The Beas’ dedicated to the 550th Gurupurab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji, was released today in the college office. This edition comprising of writings by staff members and students alike exclusively on the theme of life and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji and the historic occasion of 550th Gurupurab was respectfully released by Sardarni Balbir Kaur, President Governing Council of the college along with a commitment displayed by all the associated institutions of the management to organize a series of events as a mark of respect to the historic occasion. Speaking on the on the release of the magazine, Dr Gurpinder Singh Samra, Principal of the College reiterated that this edition of the magazine mirrors the college's ever standing obligation for the enhancement of our rich history including efforts for the enhancement of Punjabi language and culture as well. Chief Editor of the magazine, Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar thanked the continuous support rendered by the Governing Council and College Principal along with efforts put forth by all the team members of the magazine committee. On this occasion, Prof. Jaswinder Kaur, Dr. Balraj Kaur, Prof. Ravneet Bains, Prof. Sanjeev Anand, Dr Jaswant Kaur, Dr Bhawna Arora, Prof. Jaswinder Kaur (Department of EVS) and Dr. Surinderpal Mand were also present.
