Zonal youth festival concludes at Ramgarhia Girls College

Dr.Tarsem Bahia, Former Principal A.S.College Khanna, Arwinder Singh Ranga, Commissioner of Customs , Dr.R.S.Behal, Principal Aurobindo College of Commerce, Ludhiana, Amarjit Singh Siyan, Inderjit Singh Sohal,  Jaswinder Singh Birdi, Avtar Singh Bhogal , also graced the occasion. 

The College Principal, Dr.Inderjit Kaur, Ranjodh Singh,President and Gurcharan Singh Lotey, General Secretary, Ramgarhia Educational Council, extended a cordial welcome to the distinguished guests. The renowned Punjabi Poet Dr.Surjit Patar and K.K.Bawa were the guests of the evening session. Afterwards, the students of the college recited a shabad to invoke the blessings of the Almighty for the successful conclusion of the festival. 

The day was marked by the brilliant performances of items like Classical Dance, Group Dance, Folk Dance, Giddha, Kavishri, Vaar Singing, Kali Singing, Ladies Traditional and Ritualistic Songs of Punjab. 

The management and staff of RGC seized the opportunity to honour Dr.Inderjit Kaur for the sincerity with which she worked for the welfare of the college. The distinguished guests praised the passion of all the participants and their teacher incharges and congratulated the Principal, Management and Staff of Ramgarhia Girls College on securing good positions.

Dr.Surjeet Patar asserted that he is feeling great to be a part of this youthful event for this event had all the elements that require to inspire the young generation of this time. He also congratulated all the participating colleges, teachers and Principals. 

Dr.Nirmal Jaura, Director of the Dept. of Youth Welfare, also congratulated them on proving their mettle in Ldh Zone – B. He admired the efficiency with which the strenuous task of organising the four-day festival was achieved by the Principal, Council and staff members of Ramgarhia Girls College. He further added that the first position holders must gird up their loins for the Inter-Zonal Youth Festival which will be conducted at Guru Nanak National College, Doraha from November 1 to 4, 2019.  

Principal, Dr.Inderjit Kaur applauded the prize-winners of the final day and said that without the cooperation of Ramgarhia Educational Council, staff members, administrative staff and class-IV employees of the college, the task could not have been achieved. All of them contributed immensely to make the event a success and played an instrumental role in enabling the college to win good positions in various items. 

Ranjodh Singh said that the college left no stone unturned in organising the event in the best possible manner and admired the Principal of the college for being a guiding force for the whole staff throughout the function. He also added that the hard work of every member of the college from Principal to students has resulted in a magnificent event that would remain in our memories for years to come. 

Gurcharan Singh Lotey also congratulated the Principal, staff and students of Ramgarhia Girls College on leaving an indelible stamp on the festival.
