Guwahati, November 18, 2017: ZF Aftermarket the second largest supplier of parts, services and solutions in the global automotive aftermarket, participated in ACMA Aftermarket Expo 2017 which was held in Guwahati on 16th and 17th December 2017. ZF showcased products like shock absorbers, clutch kit, ball joints and transmission fluid. The ACMA Aftermarket expo brought together quality auto component manufacturers to showcase their products and capabilities to the growing aftermarket of North East India. ZF exhibited its diverse range of product offerings for Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles at this expo.

ZF Aftermarket, connected to global customers, 8,000 employees throughout 120 global company locations and a 650-strong network of service partners worldwide is optimally equipped to be the preferred one stop shop for customers. “With early anticipation of the trends of the future aftermarket, a broad and expanding product portfolio and a comprehensive service footprint, the aftermarket organization continues ZF's objective of becoming the leader in providing world class solutions for its customers” said Helmut Ernst, Head of ZF Aftermarket.

ZF Aftermarket covers the entire range of aftersales services: from products for driveline and chassis in OE quality to outstanding services such as professional training, expert advice or excellent logistics. SACHS, LEMFÖRDER and TRW are three of the prominent brands in ZF’s aftermarket.

Commenting on the occasion, Vijay Khorgade, Head of ZF Aftermarket India, ZF India Pvt. Lmt, said, “It gave us great pleasure to be displaying ZF’s top class components for passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles at ACMA Expo this year. North-East region which has approximately 1 million vehicles, accounts for 1.7% of the total vehicle population in the country where roadways are the primary mode of transportation for passengers and goods. By participating in ACMA Aftermarket Expo, we hoped to procure good business opportunities and cater to the rising demands for auto components in the north east region as the replacement demand for auto components is higher because of the wear and tear undergone due to hilly terrain and heavy rainfall in the remote areas”

ACMA Aftermarket Expo 2017 provided an excellent opportunity for auto companies to tap into the huge aftermarket in the North-East region. It was also a platform to connect with buyers from India’s neighbouring countries in the region like Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar and Bangladesh.
