The party president Angad Dutta demands revocation of CAA

Jalandhar: Angad Dutta along with workers of the youth Congress Jalandhar organised protest against Centre’s move to enforce the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019 (CAA) and implementation of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) across the country.
After taking blessings from Santokh Chaudhary MP Jalandhar, around 200 workers started the march from Jalandhar Congress Bhawan to DC Office Jalandhar. They also burns the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah outside DC office Jalandhar. They also raised slogans against Modi, Shah and BJP Government and demanded the bill should not be allowed to implement.
During the protest Angad Dutta said that CAA is discriminating and violative of the basic structure of the Indian Constitution. Religion cannot be a basis for allowing the person to settle in the country. He thanked Capt Amarinder Singh Chief Minister, Punjab who had already made it clear that his government would not allow the Act to be implemented in Punjab. He also added that they will organise more protests across the city.
Those who joined the protest included Randeep Sandhu Lucky, Bob Malhotra, Parveen Kumar, Jasskaran Sohi, Sunny Kumar, Charanpreet Singh, Manpreet Singh Mangu, Sunny Narula, Jagdeep Sandhar Sonu, Amrik singh kaypee, Rohit Pathak, Karan Pathak, Rahul Singhla, Harjodh Singh Jodha , Baljinder Kumar, Ashish Kumar, Pintu Saini, Parmjeet Pamma, Sanjeev kumar, Ishu Kalra, Sunny Kalra, Bobby, Harmeet Singh , Sahil Sohi , Amit Sharma, Raghav kumar, Vikram Dutta and many others.
