Youth celebrates birthday by organising blood donation camp in his office premises

Ludhiana, October 28, 2014: Rajveer Singh Ahluwalia of sahnewal celebrated his 25th birthday by organising a voluntary blood donation camp in his office at Dehlon road Sahnewal in association with Zindagi Live Foundation for the support of Thalassemic children being supported by the foundation.
Lakhwir Singh Tiwana, DSP, Sahnewal inaugurated the camp and appreciated the efforts of youth to serve society. Avtar Singh from Taksonz Hotel, Ludhiana applauded the enthusiasm of the youth for blood donation. Thirty Seven units of blood were collected by a team of doctors from Christian Medical College & Hospital Ludhiana. Rajveer stated that he was deeply moved by the situation of Thalassemic children and seeing their plight he decided to organise a voluntary blood donation camp with the support of his friends and relatives on his birthday.
Ashok Marwaha , Chairman Team Zindagi Live Foundation appreciated the noble deed of Rajveer on his birthday and said that it was an example for the society and If all the youth of the country could contribute for human and social causes – it could bring about a big change in the lives of the under privileged and bring about equality.
Amongst those who Present were Gurmeet Singh garcha, Surinder Pal Singh Alhuwalia, Jaswinder S. Sandhu- Councillor, Rakesh Kumar, S.S.Ahluwalia, SHO Anil Bhanot, Rakesh Kapoor, Nitin Walia and Yogesh Gupta.
