Sidhu enjoying cabinet rank other facilities without doing any work, Says Gurdeep Gosha
Ludhiana, July 10, 2019: The Youth Akali Dal district president Gurdeep Singh Gosha has demanded Punjab chief Minister to stop the salary of Navjot Singh Sidhu and withdraw cabinet rank, facilities from the minister. Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that the minister is enjoying facilities, perks being cabinet minister without doing any official work.
In a letter written to Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, the Youth Akali leader stated that from more than one month, Sidhu has not joined his office but taking salary in lakhs and other facilities. He said that the expenses of Sidhu costs more than ten lakhs per month to the state government and the government should not waste the money of people given to government in the shape of taxes.
Gosha said that the government should spend the same amount for the development and welfare of people rather than spending on the facilities to Sidhu who is taking salary and other perks without any work.
He also demanded Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal to recover the salary and other perks from Sidhu given to him in last two years as the latter has not done any single work for the people and development of state.
