The Young Ones of Innokids Pledged to Maintain Cleanliness on Gandhi Jayanti

Jalandhar, October 5, 2016: The tiny tots of Innokids – the Pre-Primary wing of G.M.T, Loharan and Cantt. Jandiala Road celebrated Gandhi Jayanti. “Sabarmati Ke Sant tune kar dia kamal” was sung by the kids and they pledged to take care of cleanliness at home and school. The teachers shared anecdotes of life of Gandhi ji. The tiny tots were dressed up as the father of the nation -Gandhi Ji. They also told about Dandi March and took out a procession. The Innokids Incharge- Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur (G.M.T.), Mrs. Alka Arora (Loharan) and Mrs. Neetika Kapoor- Cantt. Jandiala Road mentioned that such activities introduce the kids with the history of India. The tools of Gandhi Ji - Truth and Non- Violence were explained to the li’l ones. The children sang “Raghupati Raghav Rajaram, Patit Pavan Sita Ram.” On this occasion “Charkha” favourite tool of Gandhi Ji was also displayed.
