World Osteoporosis Day observed by College of Nursing, CMC and Hospital

Ludhiana, October 21, 2019: “World Osteoporosis Day” was observed by College of Nursing, Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana at Sargodha Khalsa Women Senior Secondary School, Fieldganj, Ludhiana on 19th October on the theme “Love your bones and Protect your future “conducted by Mr Sanjeet Johnson-Associate professor & Miss Bhawna -Demonstrator under the guidance of Dr.Reena Jairus-Professor & Principal and Prof.Mrs.Glory Samuel-Vice Principal/H.O.D of Community Health Nursing Department College of Nursing, CMC and Hospital, Ludhiana.
The audience were students of 11th and 12th standard. Mr.Sanjeet Johnson unfolded the theme and emphasised on awareness of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis, also focuses on the role of healthy diet including intake of Calcium and Vitamin D and exercise regularly in bone health.B.sc (Nsg) 4th Year (Batch 2016) performed the Nukkad Natak and displayed posters on importance of prevention of osteoporosis which were well appreciated by the audience.
