Workshop on “general standards in nursing practice” held in College of Nursing at CMC
Ludhiana, August 2, 2019: A workshop on “General Standards in Nursing Practice” was organized by students of M.Sc Nursing 2nd year at College of Nursing, Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana on Friday. GNM Interns were the participants. The programme was started with an invocation song by M.Sc Nursing 2nd year students followed by prayer and Bible reading by Rev.Raju Abraham from Fellowship Department. Chief Guest for this occasion was Prof.Seema Barnabas. Dr.Usha Singh, Professor and Subject Co-ordinator unfolded the theme and shared her views on the Nursing Practice Standards theme. The welcome and introduction of chief guest was done by Sanjeet Johnson, Associate Professor. Lamp lightening was done by Chief Guest and dignitaries. Felicitation was rendered by Dr.Reena Jairus, Professor and Principal, College of Nursing, CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana. Keynote address was given by Chief Guest, Seema Barnabas, Professor and HoD of Obstetrical and Gynaecological Department, College of Nursing. Regarding the topic ‘General Standards in Nursing Practice’. Scientific session was conducted by M.Sc. Nursing 2nd year students under the supervision and guidance of Nursing Management Faculty. Group activity was also done by M.Sc(N) 2nd year students and after group activity post test was taken, certificates were given at valedictory session. At the end vote of thanks was proposed by the M.Sc Nursing 2nd year students.
