Chandigarh, January 7, 2015: The sixth day of the NSS camp started with the workshop on Yoga by Jitender Singh, Yoga Practitioner and teacher at Govt Smart School Sec 51. Jitender Singh gave multimedia presentation on history and evolution Yoga. The practical demonstration of the Yoga Asanas, and students got practical tips on the performing Surya Namaskar, various forms of Pranayam. The workshop concluded by the practical session of meditation.
The interaction session by Payal Sodhi from People for Animal was also organised to sensitise the students about the various laws and regulations for the protection of the animals. . Sodhi gave multimedia presentation about the role and work undertaken by PFA. The session concluded with the interaction session with the students.
During the post lunch session the Punjabi feature film Stupid Seven was shown to the students. The film revolves about the problems and issues of adolescents. The film was produced by Dr. Pali Bhupinder Singh, Assistant Professor from Department of Punjabi, Panjab University.
The sixth day of the camp was wrapped up with the colourful cultural programme by the NSS Volunteers.
