Jalandhar, October 21, 2015: P.G.Department of Commerce and Business Administration of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya – The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar organised a Lab on “Retail Selling Skills” for the students of B. Voc. in Retail Management. Ms.Chetna from ITRONIX was the resource person for the same. The Lab gave practical exposure regarding various avenues of retailing like pie-sale preparation, market awareness, progressing sale, sales presentations, handling various objectives, closing the sales etc. Ms.Chetna also made those attending the workshop familiar with various schemes related to sales promotions, running at present across various retail stores throughout the nation. She also spoke explicitly about the function of a product consultant or advisor.  Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV who graced the workshop with her benign presence averred that the basic objective of conducting the lab i.e. providing students with required exposure of various aspects of retail selling had been very successfully achieved. She congratulated the organisers for having organised such a practically relevant event.
