Workshop On Internet Skills In Full Swing At KMV

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar has always been a pioneer in incorporating innovative skills together with its teaching strategies. The society is rapidly emerging towards becoming a global village where anyone is only a click away. With this in focus, the P.G Department of Computer Science and Applications, KMV has started a free of cost workshop on Internet Skills to make the students well verse with this current trend. This workshop is running successfully since June 08, 2017. This includes various modules as working with internet, web browsers, search engines, YouTube downloading, online converters, handling emails, social apps usage, online cutter joiners to name a few.
The young girls are participating whole heartedly, who are always keen and enthusiastic to learn all the concepts practically. The strength of this workshop is increasing on a daily basis. The total number so far has reached to 50.
Principal Dr. Mrs. Atima Sharma Dwivedi applauded the efforts of the department and stressed that such workshops are a must for the young girls, not only to learn new things but also to stand hand in hand with the current scenario.
